FNGI

Records, scores for dance, music for picture.

FNGI is a music producer, working in a studio that feels more like a laboratory. Whether collaborating for artists, media or dance companies, his creative process reflects a radical artistic vision.

His compositions are an exploration of textures and timbres, mixing analog warmth, digital precision, and acoustic richness. Influences range from the ambient experimentation of Aphex Twin to the emotion found in Jóhann Jóhannsson's and Hildur Guðnadóttir's scores.

His music production entity, FNGI, serves as the framework for both collaborative and independent creations. The studio is more than a place to create music — it's a space where musicians collaborate and create music that won't be found anywhere else.

The studio is in Guérande, France. I work on an acoustic piano, synthesizers, and analog preamps and microphones. I record musicians here, and I compose, produce and mix my own work. I experiment a lot with sound — sampling, granular sampling, electroacoustic textures. I also work digitally, to bring a modern edge to my electronic productions.
